Les Invités de La Chassagnette continues, and this time, we have the pleasure of welcoming Chef Giovanni Passerini!
Native of Rome and living in Paris, Passerini made a name for himself over the past years by reinventing the classics of the Italian cuisine with French local ingredients. He started as the assistant of Chef Petter Nilsson at La Gazetta restaurant before opening his own, Le Rino (2011) and Passerini (2016). Named “Best Chef of the Year” by Le Fooding Guide in 2017, he continues proposing simple and humble dishes, far away from the pretentions of the top gourmet cuisine.
Devoted to provide an accessible cuisine, Passerini will offer during two lunches an authentic and healthy cuisine: the Italian “genuino”. He will be linking his knowledge to that of Armand Arnal and his team, sharing the same passion for organic and local products. Together and thanks to this promising collaboration, they will propose a menu according to what the Chassagnette garden will have to offer. This is more than simply elaborating a menu together: this encounter will be a true exchange between them, learning from one another.
After the Chefs Taku Sekine, Bruno Verjus, Sylvestre Wahid, Pierre Touitou, and most recently Yoni Saada, we are thrilled to have Giovanni Passerini in our kitchen for an unforgettable moment of gastronomy!
