La Chassagnette | Michelin starred restaurant in Arles | Chef Armand Arnal

La Chassagnette

At the heart of the Camargue, La Chassagnette’s GARDEN draws its uniqueness from the soil of the Rhône delta. Either native to the Camargue or from further afield, vegetables reign here, each one of them waiting for the ideal HARVESTING time.

Armand Arnal’s intuitive CUISINE follows nature’s rhythm finding a subtle and essential harmony in its fertile sobriety. A succession of expertise, from the gardener to the cook, which leads to an intuitive creation of a MENU highlighting nature’s flavours without restraining them.

Through the chef’s ENCOUNTERS, both far and near, bonds are created and come to fruition, blossoming into sensual and spiritual INSPIRATIONS.

Journée vigneronne / Mediterranean territories

Monday, November 11th
Mediterranean territories

Two territories. On one side, the Domaine Danjou-Banessy in Espira de l'Agly, in the Rivesaltes area of the Roussillon region of France: 20 hectares of schist, calc-schist and quartz formations.
On the other, La Chassagnette, in Le Sambuc, in the heart of the Camargue Delta, between land and sea: 4 hectares of lush vegetable garden on clay soil.
Two fragile and complex territories, yet revealing wonders when you take the time to work with them and love them.

Two brothers. Benoît and Sébastien Danjou-Banessy, who have been magnifying their domaine for over 20 years, with unparalleled expertise, as if touched by grace.

A friendship. With the team at La Chassagnette who love to follow their work, and the constant quest for authenticity they share with Armand Arnal.

The chef and all his teams, from the kitchens to the gardens, from the sommelier to the dining room, have prepared an exceptional lunch around the finest bottles from the Danjou-Banessy estate.

This will be the last event of the year, and it is bound to be unforgettable.

PROGRAM FROM 12:00 p.m.:
• Masterclass: presentation of the domaine and wine tasting with Benoît and Sébastien Danjou-Banessy
• Aperitif in the garden, if the weather permits
• Exclusive “Terre & Mer” menu, featuring wine and food pairings with old vintages and exceptional cuvées from the Danjou Banessy domaine, alongside the winemakers and sommeliers.

265 € /person all-inclusive (from aperitif to coffee & infusion, including masterclass, aperitif, menu, wine pairing and waters)
