La Chassagnette

At the heart of the Camargue, La Chassagnette’s GARDEN draws its uniqueness from the soil of the Rhône delta. Either native to the Camargue or from further afield, vegetables reign here, each one of them waiting for the ideal HARVESTING time.

ARMAND ARNAL’s intuitive cuisine follows nature’s rhythm finding a subtle and essential harmony in its fertile sobriety. A succession of expertise, from the gardener to the cook, which leads to an intuitive creation of a MENU highlighting nature’s flavours without restraining them.

Through the chef’s ENCOUNTERS, both far and near, bonds are created and come to fruition, blossoming into sensual and spiritual INSPIRATIONS.

When our chef, Armand Arnal, suggested the idea of receiving his chefs friends to La Chassagnette to spend two days cooking together with the team, sending an invitation to Bruno Verjus seemed obvious: doctor, former company head (in China!), journalist, writer, blogger, traveler ... and self-taught cook, that the star of a Michelin, disconcerted by this UFO, has come to reward for his exceptional culinary work at Table, his Parisian restaurant. 

How to miss such an exceptional character? Especially since, he too, has made the choice to work without intermediary, with organic producers and artisans activists. With him too, the menu changes daily depending on the products available. With him too, sharing is at the heart of his motivations and it is around big welcoming tables that one can enjoy his cheerful and generous dishes.

On July 15th and 16th, Bruno will join us in the kitchens. As in the previous edition with Taku Sekine, we will have the immense pleasure of offering an original - perhaps whimsical, perhaps spectacular, certainly surprising - menu to the visitors who would be curious to discover the result of these moments of gastronomic friendship.
