La Chassagnette | Michelin starred restaurant in Arles | Chef Armand Arnal

La Chassagnette

At the heart of the Camargue, La Chassagnette’s GARDEN draws its uniqueness from the soil of the Rhône delta. Either native to the Camargue or from further afield, vegetables reign here, each one of them waiting for the ideal HARVESTING time.

ARMAND ARNAL’s intuitive cuisine follows nature’s rhythm finding a subtle and essential harmony in its fertile sobriety. A succession of expertise, from the gardener to the cook, which leads to an intuitive creation of a MENU highlighting nature’s flavours without restraining them.

Through the chef’s ENCOUNTERS, both far and near, bonds are created and come to fruition, blossoming into sensual and spiritual INSPIRATIONS.

Les Invités: Sylvestre Wahid

Sunday 19 & Monday 20 AUGUST 2018
FOR 2 EXCEPTIONAL LUNCHES

Sylvestre Wahid x La Chassagnette

We had the great pleasure of welcoming the starred chef Sylvestre Wahid on August 19th and 20th 2018.

A native of Pakistan, it is at Castelnaudary’s officers' mess, managed by his father, that Wahid took an avid interest in cooking. There, he discovered the richness of a French terroir that fascinated him, and continued his gastronomic awakening with Thierry Marx or Alain Ducasse. He quickly became chef at Les Baux de Provence and Courchevel, and won a second Michelin star for each of these establishments.
In 2015, he succeeded Jean-François Piège at Maison Thoumieux (Paris), where he reinvented a high-level culinary experience. He was once again rewarded with two stars.

Following the chefs Bruno Verjus and Taku Sekine, we are looking forward to welcoming Sylvestre Wahid in the next edition of the Chassagnette’s « invités ». With four hands, our chef Armand Arnal and Sylvestre Wahid will imagine two surprising, creative, unique and dazzling lunches.
